Privacy Policy
How Edutica handles information during the pilot.
1. Information we receive
We receive account information such as your email address and name. You may also provide onboarding and study information, including test timing, score goals, practice and exam activity, answers, progress, mastery, and planning information. AI conversations and session information may be persisted so the service can provide continuity and learning features.
2. How we use information
We use this information to authenticate accounts, provide and personalize study tools, maintain learning and assessment history, operate the service, respond to support needs, protect the service, and improve the pilot. We also receive ordinary technical and operational information needed to run and troubleshoot the application.
3. Service providers
We use infrastructure and service providers to host the application, authenticate accounts, store data, and process AI-assisted requests. Those providers process information on our behalf as needed to provide their services. Specific model-provider training settings are still being confirmed for the external pilot and require owner review.
4. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain learning history, support the pilot, resolve disputes, and meet operational or legal needs. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no system can be promised to be completely secure.
5. Choices and contact
You may contact us about your account or information through the Support page. Account changes and deletion requests may require verification. We will review requests in light of the pilot's operational and legal requirements.
6. Policy changes and review items
We may update this policy as the pilot changes. The version and dates above identify the copy in effect for this page. The current external pilot is limited to participants who are at least 18; any broader age or parental-consent policy for a future product requires separate owner and counsel review. Detailed model-provider data-use settings also remain a review item before broader launch.
7. Independence and educational context
Edutica is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). AI-assisted educational material may contain errors or omissions and is not official AAMC material.
